| K9 Patrol Units & K9 Teams |
Our K9 Partners work alongside our Officers, on-leash or in the back of our Patrol vehicles. They are proven to be an even more effective deterrent against crime, than an Officer alone. The K9s give us an advantage over other security companies. A K9 Partner can alert the Officer to unusual sounds or unwanted foot traffic, long before it can be observed by a human. Also, criminals tend to go the other way when they see our Officer with a K9. All of our Officers are trained to handle their K9 in a professional manner. Our K9s are trained for obedience, security alert, and the protection of our officers.
Please note: *We DO NOT leave our K9s unattended in fenced lots*
Our K9s are always attended by an Officer.

| Roxy was a very special dog, in service at SDK9 Security since 1999. She was loved by all of our guards, and known for being easy to handle, yet brave and protective. We will remember her fondly.

LaKota was everyone's favorite Patrol K9 Companion.
He was in service at SDK9 from 2001, until he lost his battle with cancer in 2007.
LaKota was an excellent partner, dedicated to his job of keeping our Officers safe.
He is missed.
